Older, well-used Marlins have a very satisfying, slick action. New rifles, not so much. We can fix that.
Sight upgrades
Many folks do not prefer the stock semi-buckhorn style of sight. We offer various upgrades to help you personalize your rifle.
Optics
Scout scopes, conventional optics, red dot sights. We can fit most anything to your Marlin.
Deburring sharp edges
Nobody like to get their hands chewed up when they go out in the field. We can dehorn the action, loading and ejection ports, hammer, trigger, etc.
Enlarged lever loop
Sometimes a larger lever loop can help with gloved hands in the winter. Or, maybe you just have hands the size of a catcher’s mitt. We can help!
Custom leather
Our friends at Levergun Leather Works in Idaho make all of our leather. Let me know if I can help you personalize your rifle, or contact them directly.
Stock work
Stock bedding, installing recoil pads, adjusting length-of-pull, are all available. Refinishing is available on select projects. Custom stocks may be available.
Test firing & sighting-in
If a rifle is in the shop for something other than minor work, it will be test fired and sighted-in at 50 yards to be sure you are at least on the paper when you start.
Refinish options
Most projects require some sort of refinish. We offer rebluing, Cerakote, hard chrome, nitriding, color case hardening, etc.
About Us & Why We are
The Best For your Marlin project
We work exclusively on Marlin lever action rifles. We do not work on bolt guns, shotguns, AR’s, 1911’s, revolvers, or anything else. Strictly Marlins.
I won’t pretend to know everything about Marlins, but I have been working on them exclusively since at least 2010, when I was encouraged by my friend Ashley Emerson to specialize in them. Thank you Ashley!
